In February, Caterleisure hosted its first company conference since before COVID, combining the event with the start of our 50th Year in business celebrations.
Many of our managers arrived the day before due to their long journeys but made the most of the hotel’s spa facilities before the conference began.
It was fantastic to see our long-standing managers meeting face-to-face again and to introduce them to the many new managers who have joined us since the pandemic.
The conference included presentations on Caterleisure’s history, trading patterns, The Great Depression (the challenges of the pandemic and train strikes), and The Comeback – because we believe we are always stronger after a setback.
We also looked ahead to what the future holds, including site refurbishments, new locations and developments in products and marketing.
Our Awards also returned for the first time since before COVID – congratulations to all our winners;
- Unit of the Year – Costa, Warrington Station and REFRESH, Halifax Station
- Customer Excellence – Costa, Lincoln Station and Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen, Guernsey Airport
The evening concluded with a fantastic hoedown, complete with live music and line dancing!
The event was a huge success, and the feedback has been extremely positive.
A big thank you to all our managers for making the journey to attend and, of course, for their hard work over recent years in ensuring Caterleisure is here to celebrate 50 years in business.
