Christine Thorpe

Managing Director

Christine is an industry professional with over 30 years’ experience. She is responsible for the smooth running of company operations throughout the UK, actively involved in the business and responsible for all legal compliance. Excellent at building relationships, Christine liaises with our clients and franchise partners (WHSmith and Costa Coffee) and provides leadership and inspiration to our senior management team.

Peter O’Connell

Operations Director

Peter spent 22 years in the Ministry of Defence Royal Logistic Core (Catering). Whilst travelling all over world he delivered catering services and all that this encompasses. Now responsible for the operation of all our units, he leads by example, sets standards, builds strong client relationships and provides leadership and guidance to our Area Operations Team and Unit Managers. Peter is also the main point of contact for both Health & Safety and Food Safety.

Louise Hodgson

Development Director

Louise has a wealth of experience gained from working in many diverse sectors of catering such as hotels, high street, travel and leisure. Having trained as a chef, she later found herself in front of house operations, purchasing and marketing and is now ideally positioned in development. Louise monitors trends and concepts and is responsible for creating menus and promotions that drive sales whilst delivering value for money.

Yvonne Clough

Financial Controller & Company Secretary

Yvonne is a qualified CIMA accountant and supports our units and contracts by providing financial reports that track performance. She has a thorough understanding of the business, continually assisting the operations team in identifying efficiencies and helping to drive costs down. Focusing on both clarity and transparency, Yvonne supplies management information to our senior management team and Clients. She analyses company performance and is responsible for monitoring financial procedures. Yvonne also manages our Human Resources department and Head Office staff.

Jackie Willerton

General Manager Caterservice Ltd

Jackie started her career with Caterleisure in 1995 but left to work for a multi-national company and one of the market leaders in contract catering. With 10 years under her belt and a wealth of experience as an Area Operations Manager she returned to set up Caterservice Ltd, the Business & Industry sector of our Company. Jackie’s attention to detail in all areas ensures we deliver a catering service that not only delivers on quality but also financially. Responsible for new business within Caterservice, Jackie is always happy to visit and talk with potential new clients.

Dianne Campbell

IT & Systems Manager

Dianne joined Caterleisure in 1992 and has gained a comprehensive knowledge of the business, enabling her to evaluate the company IT requirements and implement them effectively. Part of Dianne’s role is to provide IT and Systems training, analyse EPOS data to provide detailed management reports, continually working on system improvements that bring future measured benefits. She has been extremely successful in introducing most recently StockLink Online, a cloud based platform providing access to Real Time EPOS reporting.

Sally Smith

Operations Manager

Sally’s enthusiasm for her job is infectious, supporting her Unit Managers with guidance and hands on help when necessary. Responsible for the day to day running of our units in the south, Sally will visit each unit on a regular basis and attend meetings with the Client as required. With 15 years experience in area operations, in sectors such as high street, leisure, visitor venues and garden centres, Sally is ideally suited to managing a cross sector of travel and leisure contracts.

Donavan Parr

Operations Manager

Donavan spent 15 years in catering, travel and tourism in South Africa before moving to England in 2010. He was initially employed as the manager for our second Costa unit in Lancaster but with a natural flair for customer service and a record four 100% costa audits and two Customer Care Awards, he was rapidly promoted. Now responsible for the day to day operation of all units in the north and our Costa division, Donavan’s passion for brand excellence is motivational. As a result of his hard work and commitment, Donavan has been awarded Costa Partnerships Operator of the year 2016. Donavan is also responsible for delivering the company customer care and work skills package across the company.

Simon Coates

Development Support Manager

Simon is highly enthusiastic, adapting easily to the day to day running of the business. With experience gained from a long and varied background within the catering industry, Simon will assist with procurement, menu development and merchandising. Whilst on site Simon will support the operations team in the delivery of food hygiene and health & safety legislation training. Highly motivated with a wealth of experience, Simon is able to work across all sectors of our business.

Angela Barclay

Operations Manager

Angela has joined us with over 25 years of catering experience, working within the business & industry and leisure sectors as well as managing her own high street coffee shops.

Based in Scotland Angela will be our Operations Manager for our units in the North. She has an enthusiastic work ethic with a passion for excellent customer service and an eye for detail. Our unit managers will be well supported and able to draw upon her expertise to deliver an excellent customer experience and client service.

Michelle Harrison

HR Manager

Michelle joined Caterleisure in 1998, her role has progressed with the company and has recently qualified with CIPD in Human Resource Management, level 5, and now an Associate member of CIPD.  

Michelle is the main point of contact for all site Managers and staff regarding HR matters and co-ordinates the Human Resource Function.  Focusing on developing professional practice and complying with employment law ensuring best practice is followed at all times.
