Under New Management…
Since taking over the management of the Lakeside Café located in the Visitors Centre at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park feedback has been great, the initial signs are really positive for both Caterleisure and the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
The café is offering a high standard of freshly cooked breakfast, lunch and light meals throughout the day, including freshly prepared sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks.
The café is a meeting place for many regular customers of Cosmeston Lakes Country Park and Medieval Village, a popular park just outside Cardiff. There is also the potential to offer catering for events, meetings and children’s parties.
The Medieval Village has been used as a film location for productions, including an episode of the hit BBC TV drama series Doctor Who and Merlin. This could therefore lead to opportunities to support any future film crews with outdoor catering.
“We are delighted to have won this contract, expanding our business further in the leisure arena and are confident it will be a huge success. It will also provide us with a great platform for future opportunities within other parks across the UK.” Says Christine Thorpe, Managing Director.
Caterleisure Group’s brand portfolio continues to develop, with in-house brands as well as franchisee partners with Costa and WHSmith.
